What’s more, they’re both on the same secluded site, tucked away in the inhospitable beauty of Finland’s Arctic north. Your first night is hosted by an ethereal snow hotel where you’ll sleep on sheets of ice as expertly carved friezes watch over you. You’ll be kept warm with sauna visits and hearty Lappish cuisine, served by a crackling fire before spending two nights in an underfloor-heated igloo where a glass dome is the stage for nature’s greatest dance – the Northern Lights. There are also plenty of optional winter activities available nearby with everything represented from snow sculpting and ice fishing to snowmobiling and husky safaris out of nearby Rovaniemi.
